Born in Minsk, Belarus to a family of professional musicians, Kyril Zlotnikov began his music studies at the Belarusian State Music Academy under the guidance of Vladimir Perlin. Christian Hommel studied oboe with Heinz Holliger and piano with James Avery in Freiburg.
