The South Korean pianist Woojung Jang studied piano at Chongshin University and completed her Master's degree in piano accompaniment (Department of Accompanying Music) at Sungshin Women's University. After graduation, she came to Germany to the Karlsruhe University of Music and deepened her studies in the Lied class of Prof. Dr. h.c. Mitsuko Shirai and Prof. Hartmut Höll, where she completed her soloist exam with distinction. Directly after her studies, she was entrusted by the university management with a teaching position in vocal correpetition.
From 2015 to 2020, she worked as a project assistant on various opera projects, including opera coaching with KS Prof. Júlia Várady and KS Dorothea Röschmann at the Institute for Music Theatre, Karlsruhe University of Music. She also correpetes as an artistic assistant in music theatre at the Hochschule für Musik Saar and teaches singing for part study/correpetition at the Hochschule für Musik Saar.
