The Friends of the Karlsruhe University of Music e.V. is a group of people from Karlsruhe and the surrounding region who feel a special connection and commitment to the Karlsruhe University of Music and its students. The members are united by their interest in music and musical education, their interest in the excellent concert offerings, and their interest in securing the music college as an institution of artistic excellence in Karlsruhe, the region and the state of Baden-Württemberg.
The Friends of the Karlsruhe University of Music have been supporting students of the university for about 50 years. But who is actually behind this institution? Jonathan Hadem and Margarete Jall, former MA students of the programme "Music Journalism for Broadcasting and Multimedia" have discovered that it is above all the joy of music that unites the most diverse people in the circle of friends.
