Conversational concert as part of the project academy “The Art of Practice”
This concert-discussion centers on the world premiere of a collection of twelve character pieces for solo piano, composed by Uwe Kremp in 2022/23. In between pieces, the composer will talk about the tense relationship between artistic freedom and pedagogical necessity. The focus on selected technical problems typical of études is often found in character pieces as well.
