BIOGRAPHY
Christian Hommel studied oboe with Heinz Holliger and piano with James Avery in Freiburg. He won prizes at the international music competitions in Geneva and Trieste and was awarded the German Music Council Prize and the Mozart Society of Wiesbaden Prize, among others.
