Stays abroad during studies are usually associated with an Erasmus semester within Europe. For Nora Raber, it went a little further away as part of her final project in the master's program in music education, namely across the equator to Uganda. Three months, countless great encounters, countless exciting moments with music and people later, she is back here and looking forward to reporting on her project, the school, the country and the people:

On April 19, the Senate of the Karlsruhe University of Music overwhelmingly elected pianist Prof. Roberto Domingos as the new Prorector for Artistic Affairs. With this election, the area of artistic teaching in the rectorate could again be filled in a representative way.

Filled with deep sadness, we convey the sad news that Nachum Erlich, Professor of Violin and Prorector for Artistic Practice at the Karlsruhe University of Music, passed away yesterday after a short, serious illness.
