Study Harp Chamber Music
The Master’s programme in Harp – Chamber Music is aimed at harpists who are interested in studying as soloists to broaden their repertoire on the harp. In addition to developing the student’s artistic personality through chamber music collaboration, the programme focuses on expanding skills in ensemble conducting (conducting is available as an optional subject), the study of repertoire from the Middle Ages to the modern era, the organisation of ensembles of various sizes, and the creation of innovative concert formats.
Individual and ensemble lessons take place within the harp class; further inspiration can be drawn from other subject groups across disciplines, as well as from masterclasses, workshops, seminars and courses at the HfM Karlsruhe. This requires a keen interest in the wide range of opportunities offered by the university.
The programme is rounded off by performance opportunities within the university as well as external concerts.
