Guitar
The guitar can be studied as a specialisation in the School Music degree programme. The focus is on teaching the extensive solo repertoire from the 16th to the 21st century. In addition, the chamber music, song, and orchestral literatures - including Niccolo Paganini, Giuseppe Verdi, Kurt Weill, Arnold Schönberg, Leonard Bernstein, and musicals - are developed.
The focus is on teaching the great stylistic diversity of the guitar and secondary instruments such as banjo, steel string guitar, electric guitar. Regular public appearances as part of university events perfect training in terms of practical experience and performance security.
