A new album has been released:
The end of love x su dance110: Persist
Digital, Anunaki Tabla AT-019 (Broken Silence)
Laurenz Gemmer, the new professor for ‘Piano Improvisation/Practical Piano Playing’ at our university, has released a new album “persist” with his band ‘das ende der liebe’ in February 2025, which was awarded the German Record Critics' Award in the category ‘Electronic experimental’. More…
How does the end of love sound? And who loved whom or what? The new album by the cryptically named Berlin band takes us on a wild trip through tense emotional landscapes in fragile times. The voice of su dance110, the non-binary, transdisciplinary artist, adds bright, humane elements to the dark, harsh sound attacks of the multi-instrumentalists Andreas Völk, Laurenz Gemmer, Kenn Hartwig and Thomas Sauerborn. The sounds merge, their sources are not always clear. Everything bubbles as if an explosion is imminent.
The album is available digital und auf Vinyl.
