Atmospheres are one of the fundamental impressions of a concert experience, especially in new concert formats with their multidimensional, multimedia and participatory approaches. But how are atmospheres created and how can they be consciously generated? Based on a theoretical-empirical analysis, Cornelia Wild illustrates the concert atmosphere as a model with which the complex aesthetic contexts of a concert can be grasped.
