Tai-Wei Huang comes from Taiwan and began playing the piano at the age of seven. He completed his Master’s degree at the Detmold University of Music under Jacob Leuschner. He is currently studying for his soloist’s diploma at the Karlsruhe University of Music, where he receives tuition from Robert Domingos and Saule Tatubaeva.
He has been regularly invited to masterclasses and has had the opportunity to work with artists such as Alexander Romanovsky, Bernd Goetzke, Boris Giltburg, Eugene Indjic, Konrad Elser, Mikhail Voskresensky and others.
He is a prize-winner of the Dr. Hermann Büttner Piano Competition, the Carl Filtsch International Competition in Romania and the International Nora Loukidou Piano Competition in Greece.
