The Literarische Gesellschaft e. V. Karlsruhe, in cooperation with the Hochschule für Musik, has announced a competition for composition students on the occasion of Friedrich Hölderlin's 250th birthday. The topic was the setting to music of a poem or a poem excerpt by Friedrich Hölderlin (image excerpt from the manuscript of "Der Wanderer"). The results of the competition will be heard in this concert for the first time.
