Hannes Reich is Artistic Director of the Bosch Symphony Orchestra and the Süddeutsche Philharmonie Esslingen. He teaches at the Karlsruhe University of Music and at the Max-Planck-Gymnasium in Schorndorf.

He has appeared as a guest conductor with the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz, the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, the Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen, the Philharmonisches Orchester Freiburg and the Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden, among others, and has conducted projects at the theatres in Konstanz and Villingen.

In 2016, Hannes Reich won the German Choral Conducting Prize at the Berlin Philharmonie and has since been a guest conductor with almost all German radio choirs. He has conducted ensembles such as the RIAS Kammerchor, the NDR Rundfunkchor and the MDR Rundfunkchor, led productions with the WDR Rundfunkchor and conducted choral studies for the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, the MDR Symphony Orchestra, the Dresden Philharmonic and the SWR Symphony Orchestra.
