Christian Kemper, born in Düsseldorf in 1969, studied oboe and music theory at the Karlsruhe University of Music and has taught music theory there since 2000. He is also a member of various initiatives and ensembles for contemporary music and has many years of concert and teaching experience both in Germany and abroad. His work in music theory is complemented by publications in journals such as 'Musik & Ästhetik'.
