Since 1998, the Dr Hermann Büttner Piano Competition has been organised annually by the lawyer after whom it is named. Since 2017, this prestigious competition, which aims to promote young musicians, has been sponsored by the Adler Büttner Foundation. As part of the project seminar ‘Music and Wellbeing in Social Responsibility’, students led by Dr. Eveline Unruh developed concepts for musical visits to the Helios Clinic in Karlsruhe, put together a suitable repertoire including improvisations, and performed these during two visits (on 2 June and 9 June).
