Prof. Reinhold Friedrich: Farewell concert after 37 years

After 37 years, Prof. Reinhold Friedrich is giving his farewell concert, performing contemporary music alongside current and former students from his trumpet class. The programme features works by composers who studied at the University of Music (such as Jörg Mainka, Vito Žuraj, Kathrin A. Denner and Veronika Reutz Drobnić) or first studied there and later went on to teach there (such as Wolfgang Rihm). The programme will also feature works by Sofia Gubaidulina, Nina Šenk and Luca Lombardi.

The „Badische Neueste Nachrichten“ has published a report on Reinhold Friedrich and his farewell concerts.
