Tai-Wei Huang, soloist exam student from Prof. Roberto Domingos' class, won first prize at the 1st International ‘Nora Loukidou’ Piano Competition 2025 in Thessaloniki with Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3. Among other prizes, he will have the opportunity to perform one of Brahms' concertos with an orchestra in Tübingen.

Prof. Sontraud Speidel's piano class has won three prizes at the AMADEUS International Music Awards: Luise Bold: Gold Prize in the category Intermediate Star (Age 10-11); Xien Wang: Silver Prize in the category Up-and-coming Star (Age 18-19); Yejin Baek: Bronze Prize in the category Professional (26 to No age limit)

Eren Parmakerli, PreCollege, from Prof. Sontraud Speidel's class, won first prize in his age group, “Promising Performers,” at the online “Claude Debussy Competition Paris.” The prize winners' concert will be held in December at the Philharmonie de Paris.

The ZOLTÁN KODÁLY International Brass Competition took place in Debrecen, Hungary, from 5 to 13 July. Jaehee Jeong, currently a soloist exam student in the class of Prof Kalle Randalu, has won 2nd prize at the 2nd International Vienna Piano Competition 2025 ‘Wiener Klassik’.The competition took place from 12 to 14 July 2025 in Vienna, Austria. On 14 July, she also had the honour of performing at the prizewinners' concert in the Glass Hall of the Musikverein Vienna.
