Alumnus Marcel Brunner has been awarded the OPUS KLASSIK 2026 in the ‘Young Artist of the Year’ category.The bass-baritone studied singing at the Karlsruhe University of Music under Prof. Christiane Libor and Stephan Klemm. Since 1998, the Dr Hermann Büttner Piano Competition has been organised annually by the lawyer after whom it is named. Since 2017, this prestigious competition, which aims to promote young musicians, has been sponsored by the Adler Büttner Foundation.
