Yechan Kim as second tenor in the opera chorus of the Landestheater Detmold

From the 2026/27 season, Yechan Kim will take up a permanent contract as a second tenor in the opera chorus of the Landestheater Detmold.
Following his bachelor’s degree at Kookmin University in Seoul, the tenor Yechan Kim studied for a Master’s degree in singing in Prof. Christian Elsner’s class, graduating with distinction. The singer is currently completing his Master’s degree in Opera at the Karlsruhe Institute of Music Theatre and continues to receive vocal coaching from Prof. Christian Elsner.
