Xinyuan Zhang wins second place at the regional Lions Music Prize

Xinyuan Zhang, who is studying piano with Professor Denys Proshayev and historical keyboard instruments with Kristian Nyquist, has won second place in the piano category at the regional Lions Music Prize, receiving a prize of €750.

The Lions Music Prize competition, which has been held since 1994, takes place annually at regional, national and European level with different instruments each year. At regional level, the prizes are €1,000, €750 and €500 for first, second and third place respectively. The aim of the Lion Club's music prize is to support and promote young musical talent.
