Three prizes for trumpet class of Prof Reinhold Friedrich

The ZOLTÁN KODÁLY International Brass Competition took place in Debrecen, Hungary, from 5 to 13 July. Three of the prizes went to students in Prof Reinhold Friedrich's trumpet class at the Karlsruhe University of Music:
1st prize went to Sandro Hirsch - he is also principal trumpet of the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn.
The 4th prize was awarded to Tobias Krieger, who will be principal trumpeter in the orchestra of Münster Theatre from the 2025/26 season onwards.
A 5th prize went to Hayato Kodama, 16, who is studying at the Pre-College.
