Khongor Buyandalai wins 2nd prize at the International Piano Balkan Competition

Khongor Buyandalai, a Pre-College student in Professor Sontraud Speidel’s piano class, has won 2nd prize in Category C (age group 11–13) at the International Piano Balkan Competition. The prize consists of masterclasses in Madrid with Prof. Giuseppe Devastato and an invitation to perform at a gala concert at the Mozarthaus in Vienna.

Khongor Buyandalai is 12 years old and has been a young student in Professor Sontraud Speidel’s class since 2025.

The International Piano Balkan Competition – Vienna is a piano competition with the mission of opening doors to Europe for young pianists. Selected winners will have the honor of performing at the Mozarthaus Vienna (Mozart’s House, Vienna).
