Flutist Matthieu Grandola has taken up a post with the Saarland State Orchestrar

Matthieu Grandola, a Master’s student in Contemporary Music specialising in the flute under Prof. Pirmin Grehl, has been offered a position with the Saarland State Orchestra, initially for one year, starting in mid-October.

The Swiss-born flautist Matthieu Grandola completed his Bachelor’s degree in Lucerne and his Master’s degree in Karlsruhe. He gained his first orchestral experience with the Essen Philharmonic Orchestra, where he served as an academy member during the 2023/24 season.
