all students of the preliminary classes of the piano section

Programme and repertoire 
Performance time is limited to 10 to max. 15 minutes and should include a work by Wolfgang Hofmann as well as another work of your own choice. A list of the works available in our library is available in a separate Hofmann Foundation folder on request.

Prizewinners' concert Sunday 23 November 2025 at 11.00 am in the Genuit Hall
Applications must be submitted by email (E silke.blume@hfm-karlsruhe.de). The applications consist of
- a brief curriculum vitae of the applicant (maximum 1,000 characters)
- Information on the current study programme and the teacher
- the exact programme (detailed works, length of the individual works)

Prize money
1st prize: 1000.00 € 
2nd prize: 800,00 € 
3rd prize: 500,00 €

The first ten applicants will each receive a prize of €100.00, regardless of their position in the competition (but only if they actually take part).
The jury will be made up of teachers from the relevant subject groups who are not participants, as well as a representative of the foundation.
