About this event
Since its emergence around 1600, the trombone has been used in a wide variety of musical styles.
In this program, the trombone class at the Karlsruhe University of Music demonstrates how the trombone flourishes in all these soundscapes—from Schütz to Beethoven and Bourgeois to the famous West Side Story.
