about this event
The concert programme takes the audience on a musical journey through different eras and styles. Beginning with the sonorous polychoral music of the Renaissance and early Baroque, works are performed on period instruments, creating a festive atmosphere.
A modern interpretation of historical dances forms the bridge to the second part of the concert, which presents a varied spectrum of 20th and 21st century music. Dynamic, passionate and rhythmic compositions unfold a multi-faceted sound.
The finale is a rousing mixture of tango, atmospheric sounds and summery lightness - a festive finale to a musical journey through the centuries.
