Concert on the eve of the Day of Remembrance

Two new works (première) by students of the composition class Markus Hechtle

In cooperation with the Karlsruhe University of Music, a special chamber concert will be performed on the eve of the Holocaust Remembrance Day, in which the works of three Holocaust survivors from Karlsruhe will be musically illuminated: The piano quintet by Richard Fuchs takes centre stage, flanked by works by composition students Klara Mlakar and Jonas Eckenfels, who have set texts by Jewish poets Elisabeth Langgässer and Lotte Paepcke to music.
