
Kathryn Goodson has performed as a soloist and chamber musician for almost two decades in the USA, Europe and Japan, giving concerts and master classes. Her repertoire as a pianist includes solo works and chamber music with singers, winds and strings. Her concerts have been recorded for international radio and television stations, as well as for labels such as Albany and Innova. She teaches at the Piano Department of Eastern Michigan University and at the University of Michigan and is Musician in Residence at Ann Arbor's Northside Community Church. She received a Bachelor of Music from Oberlin Conservatory and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Collaborative Piano from the University of Michigan. As the recipient of two Fulbright Scholarships, she studied song composition in Germany and completed her concert exam in 1994 at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe under Prof. Hartmut Höll.
