Projects by students and guests of the Institute for Music Informatics and Musicology will be presented.
The IMWI Institute Evening showcases projects and new works by students and guests of the Institute for Music Informatics and Musicology, created within the context of the SAM · ComputerStudio. The programme features installations, electronic music, live electronics, video art, A/V fixed-media works, interactive formats, game audio and performances incorporating spatial sound design. As part of the collaborative work with the State Centre for Music Journalism and Music Informatics, students from the Institute for Music Journalism will accompany the evening with short journalistic and media pieces created in dialogue with the participants. Even before the concert, from 6.30 pm (and during the interval), visitors can experience sound installations, some of which are interactive. For example, the sounds can be influenced by movement or by a games controller.
