Breitkopf & Härtel, founded in 1719, is the oldest music publisher in the world. Already in the 18th century, the publishing house looked after important composers and continues this tradition today. "Breitkopf Pädagogik" brings new music pedagogical concepts, and "Breitkopf Urtext" guarantees performers scientifically impeccable editions. On the occasion of its 300th anniversary, a representative exhibition of the publishing house was shown in Shanghai, which can also be seen in Karlsruhe until October 11. Publishing director Nick Pfefferkorn will introduce the renowned publishing house in a lecture on October 5 at 6 p.m. (for visitors to the concert with Christoph Prégardien), followed by a tour of the exhibition in the Thomas Renner foyer.
