Hartmut Höll reads memories of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau from his book ‘Wortmusik’. 
Hartmut Höll, pianist and professor of song interpretation, was Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau's accompanist for ten years. "I always felt a wonderful sense of partnership with him. When we played works together that he had previously performed with other pianists, he naturally showed the way. But I was lucky enough to be able to make some recordings with him, to work on programmes that he hadn't done before, where it was a joint search - a real partnership on the podium too, reliable and helpful in a wonderful way, I can't say otherwise."
