Daniela Schneider becomes chancellor of the Karlsruhe University of Music

In a joint meeting of the University Council and the Senate on October 14, Ms. Daniela Schneider was elected by an overwhelming majority as the new Chancellor of the Karlsruhe University of Music. On March 31, 2021, she will succeed Wolfram Scherer at the university. 
Daniela Schneider is both a fully qualified lawyer and musician, both with many years of experience. She currently works as a government director and advisor for music academies and music promotion in the art department of the Ministry of Science, Research and Art Baden-Württemberg. 
The Karlsruhe University of Music is looking forward to the cooperation with Daniela Schneider with great pleasure.
