Cornelia Wild is Professor of Music Education at the Karlsruhe University of Music and is responsible for music education.

She holds a doctorate in music education. Her theoretical-empirical study deals with new concert formats and aesthetic atmospheres. It will be published in 2024 by transcript-Verlag Bielefeld in the series "Forum Musikvermittlung - Perspektiven aus Forschung und Praxis".

Cornelia Wild laid the foundation for her professional career in the field of music by studying school music with piano as her main subject at the Karlsruhe University of Music (2003). She completed her master's degree in music education/concert pedagogy at the Leopold Mozart Centre at the University of Augsburg in 2014 with top marks. Prior to this, she completed a part-time distance learning course in cultural management at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre.

Cornelia Wild has designed numerous concert and mediation formats for various dialogue groups and in different collaborative contexts, which are particularly appealing to the senses. She has developed numerous concepts with students, including in the Erlebnismusik! seminar at the Karlsruhe University of Music and at the Leopold Mozart Centre (Leopold Mozart College of Music) at the University of Augsburg, where she taught as a lecturer in music education from 2014 to 2022.

She has (co-)developed mediation concepts that have been performed at the following institutions and festivals, among others: Nationaltheater Weimar, Augsburg State Theatre, Live Music Now Foundation, OFF I Oboe Bassoon Festival Kremsmünster (Austria), International Weingartner Musiktage Junger Künstler, Klanggrenzen-Festival Karlsruhe, Mozartfeschtle Augsburg, and numerous public concerts, at schools, kindergartens, educational and health institutions.

With the children's concert series Poldis Kleine Konzerte, which she co-founded and organised in 2013, she performed numerous chamber concerts for children and young people until 2017, reaching more than 5,000 young listeners. Since 2022, she has coordinated the MusikMobil Karlsruhe and led the associated seminar at the Karlsruhe University of Music, which she has been strategically responsible for since the winter semester 2023/24.

Cornelia Wild was also co-founder and managing director of the placement agency Concertina and worked in marketing and events at the Karlsruhe University of Music and as a press officer for the Klassik am See classical music festival in Erlangen.

She has received several grants from the Free State of Bavaria and the Baden-Württemberg State Graduate Funding Act.
