The musical and educational exchange of the Karlsruhe University of Music extends as far as Brazil. From 11 to 15 September, the first German-Brazilian music festival EMBAP will take place in Curitiba, the capital of the state of Paraná in south-eastern Brazil. Tai-Wei Huang, soloist exam student from Prof. Roberto Domingos' class, won first prize at the 1st International ‘Nora Loukidou’ Piano Competition 2025 in Thessaloniki with Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3. Among other prizes, he will have the opportunity to perform one of Brahms' concertos with an orchestra in Tübingen.

Eren Parmakerli, PreCollege, from Prof. Sontraud Speidel's class, won first prize in his age group, “Promising Performers,” at the online “Claude Debussy Competition Paris.” The prize winners' concert will be held in December at the Philharmonie de Paris.
