GAIA in the Protestant town church

As part of the Gaia installation in the Protestant town church, students from the Karlsruhe University of Music have performed a total of 12 concerts.

For this purpose, the series of concerts in the Kleine Kirche Reihe (lunchtime concerts on Fridays at 12.15 pm) was significantly extended in September at the request of church music director Christian-Markus Raiser. They were organised by the university's orchestra office.

The students involved were supported by the Riemschneider Foundation.

A total of over 5000 guests attended the concerts. At the end, a horn ensemble with 14 horn players under the direction of Prof Will Sanders played in front of a packed city church.
