about this event
In the "Pose Coding" installation by Jakob Schreiber, visitors can programme virtual sound machines with body poses and then play and interpret them through movements. Analogous to conventional programming languages, poses in "Pose Coding" have clear meanings and make it possible to create coherent expressions by stringing them together, which then define the virtual instrument. This instrument can then be playfully made to sound, explored and experienced through dance movements in space.
in the pavilion north of the castle tower 17 and 18 May 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
We will also be presenting exciting collaborative projects with our industry partners: Substance, an installation by Chiharu Koda and Studio Fluffy, combines live coding with the physical properties of water. Sound transducers are used to vibrate water bowls, creating fascinating, dynamic patterns. We are also showing research work on AI-supported note recognition in audio signals, created in collaboration with Klangio GmbH.
