Teilnehmer
Students of the Karlsruhe University of Music in the Bachelor, Master and Soloist Examinations
as well as preschool students.
Repertoire
One or more works by Wolfgang Rihm are to be performed in a solo or chamber music setting (up to 6 participants).
Laureate concert
Monday · December 5, 2022 · 7.30 pm Velte Saal
Awardees are required to participate.
Applications
are to be submitted by e-mail to the competition office and consist of
· a brief curriculum vitae (approx. 1,000 characters, not in tabular form)
· information about the current course of study and the teacher
· the exact program (detailed work and movement information, length of the individual works/movements, instrumentation).

Awards
A total of up to € 5,000 is available. Within this framework, the Rainer Koch Memorial Prize for the best interpretation of a work by Wolfgang Rihm and other promotional prizes will be awarded.
Jury
The jury, chaired by Prof. Dr. h. c. Wolfgang Rihm, includes Mathias Tritsch, President of the Kulturfonds Baden e. V., as well as other personalities from Karlsruhe's musical life.
