For the eighth KinderMusikFest, students, alumni and lecturers under the direction of Prof. Dr. Mirjam Boggasch and Prof. Andrea Raabe have prepared a varied programme for young and old. Under the motto
Musical adventures from Europe and all over the world
will take place within the framework of the European Culture Days around Gottesaue Castle, in addition to numerous concerts - among others with the chamber orchestra and the children's concert series ErlebnisMusik! - performances and exciting participatory activities take place throughout the day, in which children and their families can experience all facets of music: There will be musical theatricals such as EurOPERa!, funny things like the clown theatre, clever things in the children's university, dancing things like the ballet Sleeping Beauty, acrobatics, lively things with samba batucada and entertaining things like the final show The Voice of CampusOne with the KiKA presenter Juri Tetzlaff.
In addition, all children and the young at heart can try their hand at creative singing, dancing, acting, handicrafts, composition, music informatics and percussion workshops, explore the castle and the broadcasting studio during a Campus Rallye, get to know instruments, listen to stories, have make-up done and enjoy other surprises. The physical well-being is catered for: mothers and grandmothers, fathers and grandfathers are welcome in the MusikCafé, among other places.
