The digital festival FEMINALE OF MUSIC in honor of women composers - organized by the Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe (ZKM) - will close on May 1, 2020, with a festive finale consisting of concerts, expert talks and a DJane set.
In the ZKM livestream, all of the living room concerts produced during the festival will be repeated starting at 17:00. From 6:30 p.m., concerts with works by female composition students of the Karlsruhe University of Music will be broadcast.
The event will conclude with a two-hour live broadcast from 8 p.m. onwards, introducing the makers of the fanzine "grapefruits", featuring live performances by composer Jiyun Park and DJane Panzerella, who will be mixing up the stream with a wild style mix of pussy punk, disco violence, bastard pop and electric rock by and with ladies. Participation in the live broadcast to celebrate is possible in Zoom by prior appointment; interviews, concert and djane set will be broadcast simultaneously on the ZKM livestream.
