We are pleased to announce two further significant personnel developments from the summer semester 2025:
Markus Hechtle will take over the Chair of Composition, which he has already held 50% of in recent years, in full. He succeeds Wolfgang Rihm, who passed away in July of last year. Dr Anna Zassimova, who has been working as a lecturer at our university since 2007, has been appointed to the professorship for piano with a focus on contemporary music. Dr Anna Zassimova is not ‘just’ a pianist, but also has a degree in both musicology and art history. Her students also benefit from this cross-genre perspective. More…
