Chamber singer Prof Brigitte Fassbaender in conversation with Prof Dr Stephan Mösch

Brigitte Fassbaender has been one of the most outstanding artists in the international classical music world for decades. She has made guest appearances at all the leading opera houses and concert halls and has sung all the major roles in her field. Her great importance as a singer is documented in hundreds of audio and visual recordings.
At the end of her singing career in 1995, Brigitte Fassbaender began a further career as an opera director and theatre manager. She is currently directing Richard Wagner's Parsifal at the Frankfurt Opera for the 2024/2025 season and is the artistic director of the Eppan Song Summer in South Tyrol.

Dr. Stephan Mösch is a professor at the Institute for Music Theatre at the Karlsruhe University of Music. In his extensive journalistic activities, he has published several books on the subject of opera and the singing voice, writes for the feature section of the "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung" and works for various ARD radio stations. Dr. Stephan Mösch is a regular jury member of numerous national and international competitions for singing, directing and stage design.
