String quintet „The Bullett“ (2 violins, viola, 2 cellos)
Nonet in A minor op. 77 for winds and strings (clarinet, horn in C, bassoon, violin, viola, cello and double bass)
George Onslow (André George Louis Onslow) was the son of the English nobleman and parliamentarian Edward Onslow, who emigrated to France and married a French noblewoman from Auvergne. George Onslow is regarded as one of the most important French composers of chamber music in the first half of the 19th century, although he did not follow the fashion of the time: While light instrumental pieces, arrangements, potpourris and variations were heard in France at the time, George Onslow orientated himself towards the Viennese classics, especially Beethoven.
