The Dr Hermann Büttner Piano Competition 2024 has been decided. The first round was dedicated exclusively to the repertoire for solo piano, the second to the interpretation of the Piano Quintet in F minor op. 34 by Johannes Brahms.  Matteo Gobbini received a sponsorship award. He is studying piano chamber music with Andrej Jussow in the third semester of the soloist examination programme. The composer Kathrin A. Denner was honoured with the prestigious Heidelberg Women Artists' Prize 2024.
