Louise Lotte Edler, born in Mannheim, received her musical education at the Mannheim National Theatre in the children's and youth choir under the direction of Anke-Christine Kober, who was also her singing teacher for twelve years. Since 2015, Louise Lotte Edler has been studying at the Karlsruhe University of Music under Professor Müller-Brachmann, with whom she completed her Bachelor's degree with distinction in 2020. Since 2022 she has been taking additional lessons with Prof. Daniela Sindram (HfMT Munich).
She has taken and continues to take part in many masterclasses with high-ranking artists, such as Thomas Hampson, Margreet Honig, Christoph Prégardien and Brigitte Fassbaender, and sings many projects, including Franz Schubert's "Winterreise" in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and Gustav Mahler's "Kindertotenlieder" at the Weingartner Musiktage festival organised by trumpeter and professor Reinhold Friedrich.
She is a recipient of the Richard Wagner Association scholarship and first prize winner of the Lions Music Prize. In 2022, the singer was part of the four-member jury of the first Bolivian singing competition "Canto lírico", organised by the Goethe-Institut Santa Cruz. She has been writing her own music for nine years. Louise Lotte Edler taught herself to play the guitar and write poetry and is greatly inspired by Dota Kehr, Hannes Wader and also classical poetry such as Francois Villon and Joachim Ringelnatz.
