The Karlsruhe University of Music mourns the death of Mrs Margaret Singer *14.02.1939   † 08.07.2023 Margaret Singer was a lecturer in string repetition from 1989 to 2001. She was a colleague highly esteemed and respected by all, who mentored her students with great dedication as well as exceptional excellence, and who contributed to the college with personal devotion. It has just been reported that Prof. Dr. Christoph Seibert, Head of the Institute for Music Infomatics and Musicology, has been elected Prorector for Research and Networking by the Senate of the Karlsruhe University of Music. He will take up his new post on July 1, 2023.
