Cooperations: Diverse Networking

The Institute for Music Theater (IMT) networks nationally and internationally with select cultural institutions and opera houses. Karlsruhe, a cultural magnet that boasts the Center for Art and Media Technology (ZKM) and the University of Design (HfG), offers unique perspectives as a collaborative partner. The two neighboring institutions offer synergies for learning, working, developing, and researching together.

HfG students design stage and costume sketches for Kids@Opera children’s music theater productions at IMT as well as working with student opera singers and student directors at IMT.
